Since that time, grand military ceremonies have been held regularly within the site's famed quadrangle. One such ceremony is the heralded Evening Parade. Performed with an elaborate lighting and spotlight system, this parade first occurred on July 5th, 1957. Following the participation of a Marine Detachment in the celebrated Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland in 1958, the event became a fixed Marine Corps tradition. This unique collector's edition performance features the Marine Band, the Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Silent Drill Platoon. The unrivaled splendor and pageantry of this most regal affair will make you stand up and cheer these fabulous Marines on parade. | | | Product Details: | | | Director:

Great to show friends and familyFeb 15, 2009 As a Marine in the 80's I had seen these guy drill in person, but very enjoyable to show friends and family that have no idea the degree of dedication and teamwork that Marines have. Fun to watch and just awe over. Brings back a lot of good memories. Well done too!

Patriotism at it's bestJul 21, 2007 I purchased this as a gift to my son for his first year in Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp. He is now the Commander of his guard unit and uses this as inspiration for his troop. Taking pride in his military heritage and daring to dream. Although it's a US performance, patriotism, pride and excellence are boarderless. The silent drill is wonderful.

Fabulous ProgramJan 24, 2003 I had already purchased the VHS version of this program, but I was anxious to see the Bonus Feature called Leatherneck Ambassadors." Unbelievable footage. It was like looking into a time capsule. Great job.
