Excellent Bridge Between Old School and New SchoolJun 06, 2007

I highly recommend Play Along Games and Songs because it features the very popular Elmo while also introducing kids to Old School characters like Forgetful Jones. In addition to learning about shapes, numbers and memory, this special also teaches never giving up and supporting your friends. This is a Sesame Street DVD every parent should introduce to their child. :)

Cookie monster singing songs, guy smiley hosting game shows, and Forgetful Jones being, well, forgetful!
A great video for those that love their sesame street nostalgia.
Being patient and using your mind are not stated, but are emphasized by Forgetful Jones because Big Bird never gets impatient with him.
There are numerous shapes, colors, and letters to throw some learning into this silly video.
I've bought mostly only learning sesame street videos for my nephew (do the alphabet, learning about numbers, etc) and I'm glad I picked this up just to play around. It's a very nice video.

I think that I enjoy this as much as my kids do as some of the skits are taken from when I was a kid. This timeless, fun, sing-along, DVD entertains and educates my 4YO son as much as my 2YO daughter. I only wish it had a longer play time.
