Seemed the instructor in this video was over acting, shall I say more ghetto than the pasty white boy he was? The content was good. Thats all, just good. Moves seemed so simple that no breaking down was necessary. They got slightly difficult, but I guess for the guy, the simpler the better. The girls are the ones that need to get all technical, while a guy acts as a good base. The interviews in between made me laugh. Lots of 'um's and 'uh's, like they just memorized what they wanted to say moments before. One chick even mentioned 'buy me a couple of shots of whatever', come on! Laughable. Now when Jr. came on to show you how to transition, he totally showed up the first guy. He was more confident, didn't put on a voice for the camera, just straight out showed you what you paid to see.
All in all, for a guy who doesn't know a thing about dancing, it is a helpful tool, but it won't solely get you to where you want to be. I'd give it 2 stars, but that is just too insulting. It might be all its worth if it wasn't for the second instructor saving the day.

Go through the "five star" reviews and see how many are done between late February and early April 2007. Note that these reviewers have not reviewed any other items. Very misleading for someone trying to find a good product.

If you can't dance you can't dance. If you got rhythm you can make up your own moves in a dance club. I didn't get anything from this video that i would ever use in a club.

I bought this for my husband who wanted to learn hiphop. He says it is a good, easy to follow video. I plan to try it too.

I found this DVD to be quite good. The instructions were good and easy to follow. Some of the moves were dumb and you wouldn't use them at all. Over all it delivered what it promised and that's to show you simple dance moves. This is an ideal DVD for beginners.
