Please disregard CTY "ConnectToYou"'s review (that they posted on all discs, prompting me to do the same). They seem to have a problem mostly with the company, not the DVDs. I never buy direct as these kind of organizations are known to be slimy, and I recommend that you purchase from a third party as well.
I love dance workouts as they are fun and educational and therefore I will actually do them. These are the best. You MUST start with the starter kit "kick start" disc to learn the moves. It's a workout in itself! Then you can progress to the extremely challenging dance workouts. The girls do go very fast and don't give you a lot of verbal cues, but you have more visual assist (in the camera views) than you could ever need. You WILL feel a change in your body from doing these regularly! I can't say enough about them, BUY THEM ALL!

Perfect exercise!!! not only works for stomach, it works for back, arms legs!I try to do it once a day to sweat.and my skin is really smooth now.it's much easier and cheaper than going to gum as well. and it's fun! i lost a lot of weight!! i 100% recommend this video!

This is the third product I've purchased due to an infomercial and it's been a great success. The other successful product was The Firm weight set and workout videos which I used for nearly two years. Always looking for a new physical workout and challenge, I tried the Core Rhythms Starter Package. The teachers are wonderful teachers and amazing dancers and great get-up-and-go personalities. They obviously love what they are doing, they are passionate about Latin dance, and they make difficult moves very easy to follow and quickly enjoy. I just bought the Body Sculpting Collection by Core Rhythms and Samba and Merengue Mania to add to my collection. Besides, fun, it's such a great workout that after just a day there were great results and increased energy and lifted mood. Wonderful product!

This DVD is excellent. The instructors (Kunitz & Powers) are energetic and make the dancing fun. There is a bit of a learning curve and some of the moves during the DVD can be a challenge, but if you have trouble there is a Help button at the bottom of the screen to teach you the step. Also you can chose the "back view" selection that can help the viewer follow along.
Once you get the hang of it, you will get a great aerobic workout. The DVD is about 50 minutes and you will break a good sweat. The moves are definitely geared towards working the "core" of your body (chest to upper thigh). My mom recently noticed that I've lost weight in my lower back so this DVD must be working.

As an amatuer dancer, I'd been looking for a latin workout. This is not only fun, the music is great and even if you've never danced, you can do this. Just click on a different view and they explain the moves in detail. Lots of fun, and boy do you sweat!! If you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, you'll love this work out. There is even an additional section if you want to learn some basic dance moves to get you on the dance floor. Get this DVD!!
