Gregg rocks !
Wow, can this guy Tap ! I found this dvd to be very effective in
breaking down the steps so they were easy to learn. How often do I
purchase a tape where the instructor rushes through and isn't clear on
teaching the movement ? Gregg starts off the class with an easygoing
follow along warm-up. He then shows several different exercises and
combinations giving tips on phrasing, syncopation, and how to adjust
for different levels. Finally, he does a nice, long routine with
another dancer which can easily be done as a solo. After they dance it to
music, Gregg then breaks down each section slowly (with counts) and
faces away from the camera so you can easily follow along. What I like
about this dvd is Gregg's no nonsense approach, his sense of humor (which
he interjects periodically), the tremendous amount of material he
gives, but mostly his presentation and hip style that is so popular in
the Tap world today !
