How many times have you seen a live show and then wanted to re-live the occasion? Well, this is an opportunity to do just that but with lots of bonus material. I received this DVD for Christmas and have already watched it twice. I saw the Cirque Du Soleil show in Vegas and was blown away. Then to get to watch the way it all came together was so interesting. These people are incredibly talented. I was particularly interested in the story of Sir George Martin and his son Giles and how they remixed the songs for the show. We are all so familiar with this music but the way they took it to another level is going to be the start of a whole new trend. The documentary showed the care that was taken to ensure that the finished product would honor the Beatles, George and John in particular. I loved to see Paul and Ringo enjoying the show. And watching Dhani Harrison was like seeing his father all over again. It was very touching. I was also surprised by how much of the show is actually seen. You really must try to see the show in person, of course. Watching this DVD makes you want to see it again. But even if you haven't seen the show take a look at this documentary. And if you are a Beatles fan, you are going to love it. It is great!

Went to Vegas over the holidays and was fortunate enogh to get highly discounted tickets with great seats for the 10PM show Xmas nite. Vegas is not my thing but i would go back just to see this show Again.Upon exit from the show you are corraled through a Beatles gift shop. They wanted $45 for this DVD. Waited until i got home ,came to amazon and saved $30. the insight that this DVD offers is amazing. when you see what happened to start this ball rolling and then the impossible task of making it happen..,.it blows your mind!.Great interviews with Niles & george Martin. A must for any Beastles Or Cirque Fan!!

I haven't seen the live show of Love in Vegas (but want to). Many people have posted saying how much this reminds them of when they saw the show. Well, like I pointed out, I haven't seen the show and all I can say is watching this makes me want to see the live show all that much more.
I was worried that this was going to be just a repeat of something I'd seen on television earlier, but it definitely wasn't that. Lots of footage from the various acts in the show. Extras show how and why Sir George Martin and his son adapted the songs to the show. Of interest is that this is the ONLY Cirque show that doesn't have a live band performing along with the show.
I truly envy those of you that HAVE seen this one live. Someday I'll get there. For now, I can dream by watching this amazing DVD over and over again!

This DVD is about creating the show and creating the music for the show. Has good interviews with Paul, Ringo, Yoko and George martin. Man this is a cool DVD. Hope whoever else purchases this DVD enjoys it as much as I am. I hope they release a DVD of the show itself because this and that would complement each other so well.
Follow up - I watched the end of the DVD and it does show plenty of scenes from the actual show with shots of Paul, Ringo, Yoko and George in the audience. This makes the DVD all the better.

After watching the PBS special, I was hoping to find an economical substitution with more footage of the actual show... This is a great dvd with lots of Beatle insight, and great behind the scenes footage, but I'm still looking for a full presentation of the show.
